Asset classes

Markets in Orchard are classified into Crypto, Equities, FX, Commodities, and Indices, and the token picker exposes each as a filter chip so you can find non-crypto markets quickly. Orchard surfaces a low-liquidity banner where relevant so you size appropriately.

Equities and cross-asset perps

Orchard is not just crypto-vs-crypto. Cross-asset perps live on two venues:

• Hyperliquid HIP-3 markets: builder-deployed perps on the same Hyperliquid engine as the crypto perps. Equities carry a deployer prefix within Hyperliquid (for example, xyz: for Trade.xyz markets, placeholder), not a separate venue.
• Lighter: its own listing of US and Asian equities, FX, commodities, and pre-IPO markets (see Lighter).

Cross-asset baskets

Because HIP-3 and crypto perps live on the same Hyperliquid engine, you can build cross-asset baskets directly: long a basket of equities, short BTC; or long an AI-equity theme, short an AI-token theme. Lighter offers the same within its own market set.

Constraints

• A basket cannot straddle venues. All legs must list on the same venue/account.
• Only USDC-margined HIP-3 deployers are tradable through Pear. Non-USDC HIP-3 markets (USDH-, USDT0-, or USDe-margined deployers) are not tradable through the app.
• Some Lighter markets are close-only. They can be closed but not newly opened.
